 As a certified teacher, literacy specialist, and founder of Akwaaba Akademy, I have dedicated my career to unlocking the world of reading for young learners. With a Master of Science in Childhood Education and extensive daily experience in early elementary classrooms, I know exactly what it takes to guide a child from tracking print to fluent, confident reading. With over 10 years of experience, I have a deep understanding of the education system and know what it takes to succeed academically. My expertise and experience are what sets me apart from other tutors.

I don’t believe in guessing games, flashcard memorization, or the "wait and see" approach. True reading mastery begins at the foundational level—with the smallest blocks of spoken sound, called phonemes.

By blending research-backed, structured literacy methodologies with the energetic, joyful environment that young children need to thrive, I help students crack the reading code. Whether your child is just starting out in kindergarten or needs targeted intervention to bridge classroom gaps in second grade, my goal is to build both their skills and their unshakeable confidence.
